Last year just after Thanksgiving I had a special shoot at Mrs. Nelson’s Candy House in Chelmsford MA.
I was originally there for Merrimack Valley Magazine for candies for Valentines Day, but I was invited back by owner Arthur Mapes for a special event.
Handmade peppermint candy canes made as I shot and watched the process.
It was not a task for the weak and distracted.
Time and temperature and strength are all required to produce a product that can’t be equaled.
And yes I got my own to take home that day.
