In Memoriam Ken Harkins

Yesterday morning my Dad passed away. Always a wit and never shy in front of a microphone.

He inspired us all with his sense of community and service using his talents to support those causes.

Even in the end his sense of humor was always there.

He will be missed by us and many of his friends. Goodbye Dad.

    Kevin,
I’m so very sorry for the loss of your dad. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers all week. I feel so bad you have to endure this pain and loss.

You and your family will help each other through this difficult time.

    Take care Kevin.

    Kevin,
I am so sorry for your loss. After reading the wonderful stories about your dad in the Lowell Sun, I realize what a great guy (and true character!) he was — and of course your photos here are priceless.

Take care and know that you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Kathy

The most generous person I have ever know and I am proud to say that he was my uncle. Miss you always Uncle Kenny.
