Le Carnaval de Quebec kicked off last weekend and I spent Friday night touring the grounds for the opening events.
Snow fell most of the evening but nothing deterred the crowds.
Fireworks, ice castles, sledding, a toboggan run, hot tubs and igloos all part of the display with live entertainment on an outdoor stage.
Cold but well worth it.
