January 1 the Singing Rage Patti Page passed away.
Way back in 2003 I had the opportunity to photograph the music legend Patti Page for Yankee magazine.
You probably remember her songs from the late 50’s and early 60’s like Old Cape Cod and Tennessee Waltz.
The article was actually about her Patti Page Pure Maple Syrup.
With her husband Jerry Filiciotto they produced the syrup in Bath NH at their mountain top retreat.
It was a 3 hour trip with another hour of getting lost in the mountains.
I had writer Laurie Wiegler with me and my assitant Jeff Allen.
We had a great time and Patti Page and Jerry were wonderful tour guides.
It was one of my first magazine celebrity shoots and she made it very easy for me.
She will be missed.
