Last June I did a photo shoot of the Dance Arts Academy recital for Image Magazine at the Claremont Opera House in Claremont NH. I arrived early to cover their warm up and backstage rehearsals before the show and then their performance. The Dance Arts Academy not only teaches dance but also teaches onstage confidence and presence skills that can be applied to these young students in all aspects of their lives. The Claremont Opera House is an architectural treat in itself and a perfect location for the performance. My favorite view of the event was the little girl in the aisle with her own tutu and lighted sneakers as she watched a family member on stage.
