Last night I attended the 25th Anniversary celebration for the Lura Smith Fund at the Middlesex Community College Nesmith House in Lowell MA. The Lura Smith Scholarship and Lura Smith Fund has been a community gift to all those whom have received from this fund. That night the Smith family introduced the Lura Smith Family Peace Scholarship and the Lura Smith Family Resilience Scholarship. It has been a privilege to be a part of the Smith Family covering these events for Lura and especially the MLK celebrations all these years.
