Back from vacation in Banff Alberta Canada. Flew into Calgary and made the hour and a half drive to Canmore for our Airbnb. The next morning we set off to Johnston Falls and had a nice easy hike up to the falls. Easy enough for even the elderly (me) and my grandkids. Wildfires in Jasper about 150 miles away kept the skies murky throughout the day and the elevation was a bit of a struggle for this flatlander but enjoyable just the same. Banff itself was a tourist treat or trap depending on your perspective. Hey I got my latte and my fudge I even met some Mounties. I enjoyed the day and the opportunity to be with family. More to come.
