Greater Lowell Community Foundation Pride Brunch

Saturday morning I had a great time at the Greater Lowell Community Foundation Pride Brunch held at Cobblestones Restaurant in Lowell MA. GLCF’s LGBTQ+ Fund, is an endowed fund, that was established in June of 2023 to provide a source of annual funds to support nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life for the LGBTQ+ in Greater Lowell by providing legal, health, education, advocacy, or other high-demand services/programs. Julie Chen UMASS Lowell President welcomed their guest and her partner Susu Wong provided the history of the grant and its purpose to the LGBTQ+ community and introduced Deb Fowler this years grant recipient as Jay Linnehan President and CEO of the GLCF presented the check. After the presentation friends and sponsors attending continued to enjoy the early morning eggs, sausage, bacon, mimosa drinks and partied on with DJ Mocha spinning the tunes with lots of dancing. You can see all the views on my Events Page and this years Pride Parade views will be in my next post.
