This years holiday concert with the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra “Season of Hope” with musical celebrations around the world. Music director and conductor Marshunda Smith presented a collection of holiday favorites opening with African drumming and dance by the Akwaaba Ensemble. Later Lowell Fire Chief Phil Charron narrated “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and special guest Santa Clause delivered candy and gifts for the children with a sing-along to end the event.
