On hand for the the 2023 Lowell Kinetic Sculpture Race this weekend just as Hurricane Lee passed by the New England coast. I spent a little time at the opening ceremony as this years participants displayed their latest vehicles. Kinetic sculptures are human powered all terrain vehicles that travel on the cobblestone streets of Lowell which are hazard enough on a good day along with mud pits and dunes.
