I was at the Townsend MA Earth Day Celebration to photograph the Salaamati Dance Troupe for a work friend. The event was held at the Northern Middlesex Regional High School grounds. The dancers led by dance director Cathy Moore of Qalayla were part of the entertainment scheduled for the day and although cool weather was the forecast they persevered. Dresses were colorful and adorned with many accoutrements. Several music selections were danced to with the finale bringing in members of the audience to dance with them. Later I had some fun doing some group and individual poses for the troupe at the site. You can see all the views at my Events Page.

The photos came out great. Kevin was super fun to work with. He put us all at ease and seemed very comfortable working with a bunch of silly, giddy, artsy women. The posed shots are lovely and the candid shots are so fun and really add to the overall documentation of our day.
