After our visit to the Baird Farm we set out for some New England covered bridges. They are always a treat to come by and the area of Pittsford Vermont had ample sites to view. Staying close by at the Fox Creek Inn our inn keepers gave us a map and within a few short miles we discovered four of them. We started north with the Hammond, then the Depot, Cooley and finally the Gorham bridge. Three of them were working bridges and I had to dodge some local traffic as I tried capturing my views. You will find them off Rte. 7 in the Chittenden area and a nice side trip when you visit.
