After visiting the Simon Pearce Glassworks we headed to the Fox Creek Inn in Chittenden Vermont for a couple of nights stay. It gave that Hallmark movie vibe with a rustic Vermont feel and it had quite a history too. It was bought by William Barstow an electrical engineer who entertained the titans of another age like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone. We were in town for a wedding so it was just down the road from the Mountain Top Inn but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet after a celebration. I met with the owners Rita and Corey Wood. They were very gracious and accommodating providing plenty of food and treats along with suggested tours and vistas to see while we were there.
