On location at the UMASS Chan Medical School in Worcester MA. The topping off beam with traditional fir tree and flag carrying the signatures of community members, project leaders and members of Iron Workers Local 7 was hoisted up at the noontime ceremony after a few speeches introduced by UMASS Chancellor Michael Collins. The ceremonial steel beam marks the “topping off” of the new education and research building under construction on the Worcester campus.

I LOVE these shots, Kevin. The banner one, whiteboard entry as it’s being written, the varied people in their jobs and garb…I found them captivating, artistic, interesting. Thanks for sharing your talents!
