Last Friday I was at the Free Soil Arts Collective event for the presentation of the book and the new exhibit of “Hidden in Plain Sight: Stories of Black Lowell” at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitors Center. This was a special presentation and exhibit unveiling for those in the book. My contribution to the book was the foreword photo of Christa Brown whom I had photographed previously at this link in Merrimack Valley Magazine. The principle photography was produce by Henry Marte of Marte Media who you may remember from my views with him recently for MVM. Hidden in Plain Sight: Stories of Black Lowell, is a storytelling project chronicling the lived experiences of Black people in Lowell, MA.
