A little fun in the studio working on this view for the Wine Notes column by writer Steven Goddu for Merrimack Valley Magazine. Creative Director Stephen Pennimpede did all the setup and heavy lifting on this project. The concept was to design a cork flag of the USA for the July/August 2020 issue. Steve planned ahead and determined just the right amount of wine corks for the layout. He then used a flexible ruler and provided the sweeping curve of a waving flag. Once I shot it in the studio Steve then did his Photoshop magic and colored and toned each cork appropriately. You can see the article and image online at this link.
