I met recently with UMASS Lowell Professor Ingrid Hess in her studio for a portrait for the article “Art for Good” in the Jan/Feb 2020 issue of Merrimack Valley Magazine by writer Jenn Lucey. Ingrid’s studio was an assortment of papers and with her tools of scissors she creates beautiful children’s illustrations.
