Just heard of the passing late last night of Barbara Bush and remembered her visit to Middlesex Community College Celebrity Forum in 2001.
Both she and her husband President George H. W. Bush spoke that evening.
I met with them earlier in the night for the formal photos taken at the now UMass Lowell ICC.
They were great to be with even with all the heavy security and made me relaxed right away by asking for a photo with the photographer.
We had a great time.
