Celebrating my birthday with dinner and a show at Simon Pearce Glassworks in Quechee Vermont.
Janet and I arrived early for a tour of their glassblowing facilities and pottery and for my birthday dinner at their restaurant.
I saw the process of making their Shelburne Bowl by glass blower David and his assistant Scott.
For dinner we were seated at great table with a view of the falls that powered the facilities producing 110% of their needs.
I topped off the night with a great Confit Duck dinner and our waitress Stephanie brought out a special treat of their vanilla ice cream and salted caramel.
I will be back.
