Artifacts from everyday life of the 19th century unearthed on the grounds of St. Patrick’s Church Lowell MA by UMASS Lowell students archaeological dig.
Items included here of rosary beads, clay marbles, cattle bones, an iron nail, a bowl of a clay pipe, potty shards and oyster shells.
I was particularly taken with the close-up of the rosary and could only wonder of a possible relative of mine dropping it on the grounds so many years ago.
